Course grades are awarded as letter grades, along with points that are used for calculating grade point averages.

A+ (4.3 points)
A (4.0 points)
A- (3.7 points)
B+ (3.3 points
B (3.0 points)
B- (2.7 points)
F (no points)

Grades of F are not included in the grade point average.
Grades of NC (no credit) convert to F if not completed within one additional trimester.

Earning a certificate, certification, or a diploma requires a grade point of at least B.
Earning credit for an individual course requires at least a grade of B-.

The grading policy includes the following:

*The instructor determines the student‘s final course grade.
*Course grades are posted on student transcripts at the end of the trimester.
*NC grades are granted at the discretion of the faculty responsible for a course.
*Students have one trimester to replace an NC grade with a passing grade. If not, the NC will convert to F.
*Grades of NC are NOT used in calculating grade point averages; they are not treated as a “failing” grade.
*Grades F may be replaced by retaking and paying for the same course.
*Official grade reports are sent to students by email from e-campus not later the end of a trimester.
*Appeals for grade changes must be submitted within 30 calendar days to the Director of Education.
