Presenters:

Robert P. Whitehouse, Ed.D.

Peter M. Litchfield, Ph.D.

This Workshop offers participants a practical working knowledge of Heart Rate Variability (HRV) and Heart Wave (HRV frequency) learning.

It presents the practical basics of how HRV may be related to health, emotions, cognitive function, interpersonal relationships, stress management, and optimal function.

The Workshop describes the power, the necessity, and the practicality of combining capnometry applications with HRV learning.

The Workshop introduces specific learning strategies for ensuring good respiratory fitness in combination with good HRV physiology, that is, HRV flexibility learning.

Workshop participants learn how to evaluate behaviors that may be mediating HRV and Heart Wave patterns that compromise HRV flexibility.

Participants learn behavioral applications that can be implemented both personally and/or with their clients, which may promote HRV flexibility and its associated benefits.

Evaluation and learning sessions, including the monitoring of live respiratory and HRV physiology, will be conducted with both participants and volunteer clients for all to see.

The Webinar Workshop is divided into three parts:

Part 1: HRV physiology and its measurement

Part 2: HRV frequency analysis and HRV training techniques

Part 3: HRV flexibility, state change, and learning
